From the Ford Memorial Library:

Our first visit with RocDog was a success! Since the goal of their visits is to make people smile — we thought sharing them with you all would be a good idea.
The Friday vibes are strong with this one!

Elementary parents, take note!

Jared Campbell paid South Seneca Elementary a visit earlier this week. We were so lucky to have him — our students loved him!
Jared is an award winning singer/songwriter from upstate New York and has been traveling the country performing for thousands of people and hundreds of schools over the past decade. He’s shared the stage with famous bands and musicians and has also been featured on TV. He’s been acknowledged by Billboard Magazine as one of the top independent musicians in the northeast.
His songs are said to be uplifting, thought provoking and emotionally heartfelt. Jared mixes humor, stories of life on road and personal experience to relate to the audience set before him.
Thanks again Jared!

The Mad Science Extended Day program made amazing things out of "nothing" this week! Leaders collected many odds and ends, and savaged recycling for unique items. This was a huge hit with the kids!

We celebrated Black History Month throughout the building with a huge assist from second grade teacher Jessika Pfeil, who created and set up gorgeous door designs and bulletin boards. Students were invited to participate in her designs, as well. Thank you, Jessika!
