For anyone in the South Seneca community who needs or wants support at this time:

Today is National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day. We could not be more thankful and lucky to have Deputy McNabb and Deputy Presher as our SROs! #foreverfalcons

Put it on your calendars!

Congratulations to all of the South Seneca Middle High School Chorus students who were selected to attend the All-County Chorus Festival in Dryden on January 20th and 21st, 2023.
Jacob Borst (Grade 10), Sylvia Brock (Grade 10), Elizabeth Dendis (Grade 11), Nolan Mitchell (Grade 11), Jacob O'Steen (Grade 11), Abigail Sherry (Grade 12), Molly Stirlen (Grade 9), and Nikolas Wheeler (Grade 11) were selected from the High School Chorus.
Kayleigh Banfield (Grade 8), Brooke Jennings (Grade 7), Ethan King (Grade 8), Brady Neville (Grade 7), and Brooklyn Ovenshire (Grade 8) were selected from the Middle School Chorus to attend.
Dryden High School hosted the All-County Chorus Festival. Students prepared choral works ahead of time. Over two days, students work on this music with guest conductors that was presented in a concert on January 21. Christan Oliver was the guest conductor for the Middle School Chorus, and Dr. Sean Linfors was the guest conductor for the High School Chorus. Bravo to all students!

Please be aware that we are scheduling periodic building drug searches, using law enforcement coordination. By the nature of the operation, these searches need to be unannounced. We know that the increased police presence at the building can cause community anxiety, and that news travels fast when it is noticed. Be assured that this has been planned well in advance, and there was not an emergency situation at school. At this time, the lock down drill is over and the regular school day has resumed.

South Seneca Central School District currently has an opening for a Full-Time Elementary Teaching Assistant.
