The topographic maps of NYS the 4th grade at #SouthSenecaES were working yesterday got a coat of paint and a map key today! The kids really enjoyed seeing our state come to life.
Public Notice September 30:
This morning we learned that several high school students reported that a classmate told them they had a gun in their car at school. Upon investigation of the car and interviews with both the student and the parents of the student, it was determined this statement was not true. Our School Resource Officer led much of this investigation.
We are always grateful that students bring these reports to adults in the building so they can be investigated. This student understands that even making a statement like this is considered a serious disruption to the school environment.
On Tuesday, 10/4, there will be a COVID-19 vaccine clinic held at the Middle/High School that is open to all ages, 6 months and up. This is also the same day as the Foodlink Food Truck! See the flyer for more information.
4th grade ELA and social studies at #SouthSenecaES combined forces this week to create topographic maps (and the dough for them)! Both curriculums have an emphasis on NYS history, so the overlap made perfect sense...and made for a fun lesson!

Public Notice September 28, 11am: Ambulance at MSHS in Ovid is responding as a precaution for an individual medical issue in the building. We agreed in the spring that this type of notice would go out in these kinds of situations so the community doesn't need to speculate about a potential emergency.

The South Seneca Board of Education will hold its regular meeting on Wednesday, September 28 at 6:30pm in the Middle-High School Flex Lab, Room 100.
This patron initiated program at the Lodi Whittier Library welcomes all needlecrafters (with any experience level) and anyone who is just curious about it to come together! You may join at any session, no sign up needed. Tea & cookies included!
